Mid-Level Linux System Administrator
The Linux System Administrator is heavily involved with fine-tuning of our systems. The primary functions include application installation such as Tomcat, Apache, and Tradeware?s proprietary software and daily operational support such as troubleshooting production issues and internal systems. Linux System Administrator also provides assistance to Internal Systems in maintaining windows servers. This position requires to be on a rotational on-call, with some weekend work. Basic qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science/related discipline or the equivalent in education and experience; 2-4 years Linux/Unix system administration experience (RedHat specifically); solid understanding of DNS (Bind 9), Apache/Tomcat; basic understanding of network protocols; experience with virtualization products such as VMware or Xen. Understanding of FIX protocol is a big plus. Other pluses: knowledge of clustering such as Veritas Clustering Services or Linux Clustering Services, SAN solutions such as NetApp, HP EVA's or EMC, as well as any certifications such as RHCE, NCSE, and/or LPI Level I & II.

The position requires the knowledge of Linux System Administration, Solaris System Administration, and Sybase Database Administration. Junior C/C++ Back-Office Developer
The ideal candidate will be strong in C/C++ and have an appreciation for the technical challenges involved in running and improving back-office systems. Candidate should have Unix or Linux skills as well as experience with Sybase or some comparable DBMS. Knowledge of Perl is a strong plus as is any experience with regulatory workflows such as OATS. Senior C/C++ Developer
We are looking for a strong C/C++ developer experienced on the Unix/Linux platform who has worked with the FIX protocol. The candidate should also have some experience with Java. Candidate should be a seasoned developer with some leadership qualities and be capable of managing a small team of developers. The C/C++ knowledge would include low-level C code (sockets, ipc, pthreads, signals, mutexes) as well as high-level C++ design skills (STL, algorithms, data structures, multi-threaded design). Customer Service Representative
The primary function of the Customer Services Representative is to provide first-line support for service calls and to support technical and user training requirements. In addition to these responsibilities, the Customer Services Representative will also be involved to varying degrees with the testing of FIX connectivity with new and existing clients and will have the opportunity to provide input into business and technical planning decisions. The Customer Services Representative must have superb interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of staff at a Client, ranging from technicians and junior and senior business representatives up to trading desk staff and business managers. The position requires a sound technical background in Linux. Knowledge of trading products, specifically within the Equities market. Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income and back office experience are all significant assets. At least five years related professional experience within the trading & investment industry is required.
Account Manager
A primary function of the Account Manager is to develop a strong relationship with the client account, to understand the client's needs and requirements, and to develop creative solutions to service these requirements with the market-leading products and services provided by Tradeware Global. The position works in a team with members of the Sales, Exchange Products and Product Management groups to provide a seamless Client experience. The Account Manager must have superb interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of staff at an Account, ranging from technicians and junior and senior business representatives up to trading desk and business managers. The position requires sound knowledge of trading products, specifically within the Equities market. Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income and back office experience are all significant assets. The Account Manager must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to assess and communicate plans and strategies. Practical problem solving abilities and the ability to bring develop effective solutions to solve real world business problems are key requirements.
